Bristol Benefits From New Serviced Apartments

For our recent short break we booked a serviced apartment in Bristol with SACO. The block is completely new. They have apartments everywhere, stretching from Great Britain, to Europe and the Americas to across the world, just right for us travelers. It doesn’t matter where you go, the standards are similar throughout the company. We thought reserving the apartment very straightforward by phone. Booking on-line meant asking for a reservation as their booking system couldn’t confirm immediately (we were rather late booking!). All the staff were so professional, we just wanted to broadcast our good experience!

Bristol Station was our arrival point. Catch a taxi outside the station and in seven minutes you’re at SACO. If it had been calmer weather, we would have walked as we did not have many bags – perhaps only 20 minutes. Lots of people come to Bristol from overseas. There’s an airport bus to the city centre coach station, afterwards you just walk a kilometre or two to the apartments.

The studio apartment was much bigger than we had thought, being used to hotels! There were impressive views from the large windows, the kitchenette was well equipped and, crucial for our comfort, the bed was comfortable. The apartments are obviously set up for business or leisure use. Families could easily use the two and three bedroom apartments and not have to worry about youngsters sleeping miles from from parents.

The delightful harbour was right outside and when we looked left, you could see all the old industrial buildings, now transformed into museums. We chose the apartments because they were next to The Hippodrome. We took in Dirty Dancing and loved it. Bristol’s shopping mall, Cabot Circus, well-known chains and family run restaurants and tourist sites are all an easy distance from the apartments. We slept like logs even though we were in the city centre and were able to stay in touch with our children as the apartments have free wi-fi too. I guess it would be perfect for business people as well as us pleasure seekers!
