Jungle Mountain Biking

Jungle Mountain Biking Coming Soon To Osa Mountain

Jungle Mountain Biking Coming Soon To Osa Mountain

Coming to Osa Mountain late in 2011… Mountain Biking in the Jungle!
Bob Swanson, an experienced mountain biker and trail builder, along with the help of his friends at IMBA and Long Cane Trails and many others in the biking industry, is super excited to be able to bring the first true singletrack experience to southern Costa Rica… and we are glad to have him as part of the Osa Mountain Business Network.

Osa Mountain Village, Coronado, Costa Rica
MTB Osa Costa Rica is creating the first destination, single-track mountain bike centre in Central America. Osa Mountain Village is one of the largest privately owned nature preserves and jungle playgrounds in Costa Rica, where there will be 40km of trails suitable for a variety of skill levels. A mountain biking mecca nestled in old growth rain forest.

Walt Bready, of International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA), along with Todd Branham, of Long Cane Trails are combining efforts to create a system of world-class singletrack trails, both of whom are seasoned trail designers and members of the Professional Trail Builders Association (PTBA). Using IMBA’s cutting edge, sustainable trail building techniques along with the hard work of our trail crew we will turn MTB Osa into a world class mountain biking paradise.

Our goal at MTB Osa is to provide a destination for the avid mountain biker seeking a new kind of adventure but also be able to bring along the entire family for an enjoyable vacation experience. MTB Osa, along with Osa Mountain Adventures will offer the complete vacation package. MTB Osa will be the mecca of an ever increasing network of fantastic hand-built singletrack trails, along with a planned technical downhill course; a mountain biking adventure that will only make the paradise of Costa Rica even more amazing.
