Rafting in Costa Rica is a very popular past time and Ron McDonald is now offering great whitewater rafting tours along with river float trips for the entire family through a partnership with one of the oldest and most respected rafting tour operators in the area. With rivers almost everywhere in the country there are many places to try the Costa Rica whitewater and near the Osa Peninsula are some pretty great spots. White water rafting the many great rivers is incredible fun. Rivers in the area range from class 2 to class 5. Be sure to bring a waterproof camera to catch some great pictures of animals during the trip.
Basic Tour: Adults-$95 to $110, Children 7 to 12 years-$?, Children under 7 are not allowed on this tour.
Whitewater Rafting Details:
Meet Time: 7:00 AM in Dominical
Where to meet: At Dominical Surf Adventures office on the main street in Dominical.
What to wear: Comfortable clothes and shoes for getting wet. Water sandals are best but sandals or tennis shoes will work as well. Clothes and shoes must be able to get wet.
What to bring: We recommend bringing sunscreen, water, insect repellent and a hat and waterproof camera if you have one.
Important: Please plan on arriving at least 15 minutes prior to the start time of the tour as we do start on time.
PLEASE NOTE: The Whitewater Rafting Tour is not meant for the weak or faint of heart. To do the full tour you must be in good physical condition.
