Costa Rica ATV Tours Mean A Wild Day Of Fun… Rain or Shine
Costa Rica ATV tours are popular for good reason.
Of all the things to do on your vacation, taking an ATV tour of Costa Rica’s rich and bio-diverse landscape and visiting some of the small farms that are nestled in the mountains will leave you with some of your favorite memories from your visit. The back roads of Costa Rica are excellent for ATV rides as most major places can be reached by paved road now, which has left the older dirt roads for reaching the more remote places less maintained and perfect for ATV tours. Starting at a few feet above sea level and quickly climbing to over 3,000 feet you’ll see the landscape change right before your eyes passing through old growth forest and a unique coastal cloud forest of the Fila Costena mountains.
The atv tour offers spectacular views of the ocean and valleys, passing over mountains and through dense jungle, crossing through streams, coffee and banana plantations while we head to our destination… the San Luis Waterfall. This Costa Rican waterfall is so tall that the top cannot be seen much of the time as it is often in the clouds. We frequently see monkeys, toucans and other exotic wildlife while on the ride.
The ride will last 4 to 5 hours and includes drinks and snacks while on the tour. As a general rule the minimum age limit is around 16 give or take a couple of years. We are flexible here because it really depends on the experience of the person. We have had riders that are considerably younger than 16 that were great riders and people over 16 that were not so great so we keep an open mind.

Half day ATV Tour Details:
Time: 8:30 AM
Where to meet: Adventure Motorsports in Uvita 200 meters south of the gas station and 30 meters west of the highway on the side road.
What to wear: Comfortable clothes and shoes for riding on the atv.
What to bring: We recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, water, insect repellent and a hat and camera if you have one.
Important: Please plan on arriving at least 15 minutes prior to the start time of the tour as we do start on time.
