Osa Animal Sanctuary is a place where orphaned wildlife from the local area can cared for until they can be reintegrated into the wild. Animals that are injured beyond the point where they can be released will find a permanent home at the sanctuary to live out the remainder of their lives. Already the sanctuary has 2 Squirrel Monkeys, a Variegated Squirrel, a Pizote, a Watusa, a Paca, an Owl, several Parrots of different species, a deer (to be released shortly), a kinkajou, and more animals are coming all time.

More animals will be coming in the future as more enclosures are built. Hours of operation are 9:00am to 4:30pm 6 days a week (closed Mondays). Reservations can be made through the online reservation system below. You can also schedule shuttle service if you do not have a 4×4 vehicle to make it up the mountain to the Sanctuary.
