Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary
Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary is a place where orphaned wildlife from the local area are cared for until they can be reintegrated into the wild. Animals that are injured beyond the point where they can be released will find a permanent home at the sanctuary to live out the remainder of their lives. Already the sanctuary has 2 Squirrel Monkeys, a Variegated Squirrel, a Pizote, a Watusa, a Paca, an Owl, several Parrots of different species, two Macaws, a kinkajou, and more animals are coming all time. More animals will be coming in the future as more enclosures are built.
The Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary needs donations to survive. Veterinary expenses and food for the animals being cared for cost a considerable amount of money and as more animals arrive the expenses go up with each new addition. If you would like to contribute a one time donation or set up an ongoing monthly donation to help feed and care for the animals they would be very grateful for your support.
